Timeline
1. Organize the appropriate documents
In order to provide you with an accurately sized solar electric system we will need 12 months of energy use from your utility. For Southern California Edison (SCE) customers we will need the customer account #, the service account #, your rate class and the electric meter #.
2. Energy Consultation
Schedule a consultation with one of our project developers and they will discuss the best options for you to start saving money.
3. Paperwork
Once you have evaluated your options we will collect the appropriate project documents such as installation agreement, financing applications and utility interconnection paperwork
4. Site Measure
Once your project is agreed upon we will have one of our technicians come to your home or business and measure your roof spaces and document the details of your site for making the design.
5. Engineering and permitting
Now that your site measure has been completed we will make your design and submit for a building permit.
6. Installation
Upon receiving a building permit we will order the equipment and schedule your installation
7. Inspection
When your installation is completed we will have the work inspected by your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ, aka inspector).
8. Commissioning, Interconnection and Savings $$$
After the inspector has approved your installation we will submit the results to your utility for interconnection, turn on your system and show you how to monitor its performance. Now enjoy your savings!
